Yorkshire Young Farmers Rural Recycling Mascot Steeplechase 2006 Report

After our original aim to raise a couple of thousand pounds for charity with the race, the mascots really got to work on the money raising. Including prize money given to charity, we believe the total raised has now reached the £14,000 mark. Approximately £4,000 of this total was raised for our chosen charity, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The top 10 money raising groups are shown below, well done and thanks to all who raised money and also a big thanks to our sponsors and of course Wetherby Racecourse without whom the event could not have taken place.
