…… just some words used to describe what is rapidly becoming a well respected fixture on the Show Calendar. The Yorkshire YFC County Show offers something completely different and an opportunity for the public to get “up close and personal”.

Held deep in the heart of beautiful Nidderdale it is the perfect setting for the Yorkshire YFC County Show.

Following the devastation of the Foot & Mouth outbreak in 2001 Yorkshire FYFC wanted to re-vitalize their organisation and show the public that British Agriculture was indeed alive and kicking. Founded in 2003, the last five years have seen the show develop into a wonderful, vibrant and interesting show which really does have something for everyone , no matter what their age or background.

The Yorkshire YFC County Show has become the focal point of the YFYFC competition year. Bringing together over 1,000 members (and their families & friends) to take part in competitions as diverse as the show……

The show is a wonderful opportunity for our members to ‘show off’ their skills and enthusiasm, not only to their counterparts, but the ever increasing numbers of the general public (over 5,000 in 2007) who come to the show and are totally amazed by the whole experience.
