This year's Northern Area Field Day was held by East Riding YFC at Brandesburton. There was a tremendous team spirit at the field day which gave Yorkshire second overall points for the Earl of Derby Trophy. The stockjudging competitors were also successful with Yorkshire A team coming joint 1st with Cumbria B. Yorkshire dominated the Tug of War with wins from Yorkshire A (Harrogate) and Yorkshire B (Burton) 2nd and South West Ladies Yorkshire A 2nd.
