A cold sunday morning in January brought six Mixed Hockey teams and Three Volleyball teams. to Tadcaster to challenge for the Hollings, Crowe and Storr awards.

Last year's Netball champions Ryedale found themselves in the final once again against Craven. This was a very tight game with a one score draw resulting in a penalty shootout with Ryedale coming out victorious. Volleyball saw South West beat the other two teams with Craven taking second place and Cledales third.

Meanwhile in a warm sports hall were teams of under 17's playing the Kwik Cricket tournament. An excellent turnout of ten teams with Easingwold winning all of their games including the final against Aire Valley.

The top three Hockey & Volleyball teams now qualify to the Northern Area Finals in March at Isle of Man with the Kwik Cricket teams heading off to Cumbria in June so watch this space!
