Lamb Section

Over 50 members members met at John Penny & Sons, Rawdon for the annual Live and Carcase competition.

Members had to judge either Beef or Lamb. Placing two rings of live animals and giving reasons on one ring and then placing two rings of carcases, giving reasons on one ring and classifying the other ring. Prizes were awarded to the individual winners in both the live and carcase sections as well as overall.

Well done to Richard Stoney from Nidderrdale who won the Walter E Motson Beef Trophy and Alex Crabtree from Farnley Estate was awarded the Barclays Bank Trophy.
